#15 - And off you go...
Well, you made it... most of you anyway. Some of you have trumpeted the benefits of the research process we've done in class, including the bibliography, introduction, note cards, and outline. Do you feel these steps were helpful in writing your paper? Can you see yourself utilizing these tools in the future whether or not they are a requirement of the paper?

yes these steps where very helpful in writing the reasearch paper becouse you had all of you thoughts on paper and just had to constuct senteces and paragraphs it was very easy i feel. i could see my self using these tools in the future since they were very helpful.
I don't see myself using the notecards in the future because I feel they take up to much time, even though they were helpful in some parts of the essay, but that's just how I feel. But I would use the outline, just so I know what I want to use and where I exactly want to use it and I would use the bibliography because it shows you actually did research and didn't just make up the whole essay.
I think these steps helped me a lot in doing my project. I can see my self using this tools in the future.
I feel that the note cards actually were very helpful but the outline was a waste of time because it was basically just copying our notecards onto a word document. If I am not required to do the extra work I probably would not make an outline or note cards.

I think that these steps were helpful in writing my paper because if I just tried to write it without any of these steps I would have found the paper almost impossible and I can see myself using these tools because I found them very helpful.
I benefitted from the note cards and the outlines and could see myself using them again in the future. Insted of writing the whole paper at once, I like how we took it one section at a time. If you typed the whole paper up and got back a lot of mistakes to fix, that would be so annoying. I prefer correcting one section at a time so the paper is getting better and better along the way.
In regards to the research paper and the necessary steps that had to be taken, I feel the steps were indeed helpful in writing my paper. They enabled me to get a better sense and vision of the project, and see more clearly the requirements that had to be fulfilled. Without them, I feel it would have been quite difficult to successfully complete the project in the time allotted, so they were probably a big asset to the paper. Also, I can probably see myself making use of these tools later on in my academic career. They have proven to be very useful to me in the completion of this project, and I feel it would be wrong to not utilize them and all their benefits for future papers.
Period 8 English
Although I complained about 98% of this project, including these various tools, I did find them to be helpful. It was nice having easy access to these tools when I would lose my train of thought or forgot where I got my information. It made making a work cited easier and the overall writing of the essay was also a lot easier. Even though I did almost none of this project in class, which i do regret, I did do it at home. These tools made my life a lot easier while writing the paper.
When writing my research paper I thought that these tools had helped me to write my paper a lot easier because the outline and the note cards helped me to plan out my paper along with the bibliography because it helped me to research for the paper itself. I could see myself using so of these tools to help me write in the future whether or not they are a requirement of the paper anyway.
Yes I think this process was very helpful in writing this paper. If I ever have to write a paper like this in the future I will use this format.

I thought it was useful and helpful while I was writing the paper because you already had what you were going to write about, you just needed to organize it into a paragraph on the computer. Maybe in the future I will use it, because it did help me while I was trying to write my paper.
This essay really showed me how to outline a research paper and transfore it into an essay. I will definatly use the index card method again in a different reasearch paper.

These steps were worth doing because it helped with the process of getting it all done and just saying "Reserach paper due next week." I can see myself using this process in the future when I am in college when I have to write a research paper.
The notecards, bibliography, and outline made writing this essay a lot easier and less stressful. I would definitely use these techniques when writing future essays to make it easier for myself.
i found that i used the notecards and outline more than i thaught i would durring this assignment i thaught that i would just treat these things like sepret assignments that wouldnt have any thing to do with my papper but it did i used the notcards to their fullest while writeing amd organiseing my essay and as did i the outline
I definitely think that these steps were helpful. I typically have major organization problems, but the note cards and outline really helped me get all of my work in line. I plan to use these steps on future papers so that I can keep track of my work.
No I do not believe that these steps were very useful in actually writing the paper. The tools may have been helpful to people who weren't really sure where they stood on there topic. this may have helped them get a better understanding for their topic. No I do not see myself using any of these tool in the future if they are not required unless I am the situation noted above.
These steps were definitely helpful in writing the essay because they were guidelines that would help me stay on topic while writing the paper. I have not used these steps in previous papers which made them harder to write, this paper however was easier to write. I can see myself using some of these steps in future papers whether it may be all of them or just a few.
I feel these steps were very helpful as they helped me to organize my paper. I thought taking the paper step by step was easier than trying to write it all at once. With the note cards, you knew what went where in your paper so it could make a little more sense. I could see myself taking the time to make an outline for future papers because I feel it benefits you a lot. I couldn't see myself making a bibliography because it's such a hassle to make absolutely perfect. Although I'm glad that I now know how to do a bibliography properly for future papers.
I felt that some of the tools that we used we old style. I don't think I would use the note cards again. They took up a lot of time and it seemed like double work.
In this research paper I believe that the tools we did like the note cards, bibliography, and outline was helpful because it gave me what I wanted to write in my paper in advance so I won’t have to stress when I’m writing my paper.
Even though I handed in about every part of the process late, I feel it really helped me in the ends, especially the index cards. It provided all the information I needed to write my final copy.

However, the outline was useless and I didn't use it at all because I already had all the information I needed on the note cards. The introduction is just part of the paper, and it is necessary. Therefore, I do not think it is helpful in any way, but it is still necessary. The bibliography is necessary and makes the works cited much easier. It, along with the note cards, helps with citations within the paper. However, the bibliography is useless in making the works cited easier because it is harder and longer than the works cited itself. However, the bibliography is necessary and slightly helpful. In the future, I may use note cards, and I will not use an outline (if they are requirements, I will definitely use both). As for everything else, I will only use them if they are requirements or if they make my paper better.

I believe that making a bibliography, an introduction, note cards, and an outline was very helpful through out the research paper process. Due to the fact that we made all of these aspects of the paper prior to making the final copy, it was very easy to put the paper together at the end because we already had the basic outline of it done. I believe that I will use these steps when doing future papers because it made this research paper very easy to write.

I think these tools were helpful overall because they sorted out your thoughts and gave you clear steps to follow. I think i will use some of theses steps in the future because they did help despite the extended preperation time. When the time came to write the paper i knew what i wanted to say and now i had my ideas right infornt of me ready to go.
I felt that only some of the organization steps were helpful in writing the research paper. I found the outline and bibliography stressful to make sure they were perfect. The only step that I felt actually helped were the note cards. They were kind of annoying to write and organize, but once they were done they made the paper a lot easier to write. I can see myself maybe using note cards to write a future paper even if they are not required.

I don't feel that the outline and the cards were helpful, i think each student will do best if given the opportunity to organize the essay the way they want. I wouldn't use these steps in the future if they weren't required.
I feel that these step help a lot in writing the research paper because usually I like to procrastinate until the last few days to write the paper. However, with this process it helped me plan out my essay and write it easier. In the future, i will probably end up using the same technique I used for this paper.

I think that the steps helped out alot while we wrote the essay. I think that i will be using them in my future papers and wrtititng assignments.
I feel like all of these steps were extremely helpful when the time came to actually write our papers. Doing all of the steps could be annoying at times, but when you actually sat down to write your paper you had all the information you needed to get the paper done. One aspect from this whole outline I would most likely use in the future was the note cards. The note cards were an organized way to plan out your entire piece of writing with all the specific details you would need while writing the paper. I might also use the outline again, but it was basically just a loose leaf version of the note cards.
I think that I will use the note cards when im writing future papers because it's an easy way to plan what you want to write. And I think it'll also keep me organized.
I felt that all these tools really helped. All these helped my paper be a lot more organized and easier for me. I will definitely be using this tools later on. The note cards really helped me the best, just because they were easy, quick, and organized my paper the best.

I feel that the introduction, note cards, bibliography and the outline were all helpful when writing my paper. I definitely could see myself using these tools in the future to write a paper because it kept me organized and it made my essay a lot easier to write.
Well i did not do these steps until i was finished with the whole paper so i did not get the full organizational process. if i did these steps to completing the research paper. Hopefully next time i can use some of these to form a research paper next time i have to write one.
